Site visit 20+23.01.15

 Bean LRC overview

 Stage lawn not to be used for storage of materials. All to be removed and compound formed as tender documents
 Refectory opening formed poorly and damaged. To be rebuilt with sufficient framing/ strength

 Lining to Cunliffe top floor- CVA to confirm internal geometry

 Bulkhead lining construction underway- top floor Cunliffe classrooms

 Mortar applied to brickshield area- comparison with red mortar now apparent- acceptable constrast

 Brickwork repairs- further sample formed with dye- lower right area of image acceptable to client.

 Cunliffe 2FL opening formed for CU.ED.02.01. Upstand exposed to cill level.

  Cunliffe 2FL opening formed for CU.ED.02.01. Upper lintol to be repositioned to allow current opening to be retained
Bean LRC roof- interface between roof plant enclosure and parapet wall built incorrectly. HCL to refer
 4Bay to rectify height of brickwork support steelwork- set at incorrect height. HCL to advise

 Special cavity tray now installed to 1FL Bean LRC arched openings

 CVA to confirm support to cavity- Cunliffe drawings refer to metsec frame

 Cunliffe service risers- HCL builderswork openings not as OR builderswork. HCL to provide grille or appropriate guarding- HCL to advise/ confirm

 AC units to corridors. Bower Fuller to provide spigot connection details. CVA to update design intent in lieu of site fabricated upper panels.

 Cunliffe- GFL + 1FL soffit  repairs still to be carried out- M&E installation already in progress- works out of sequence. Care to be taken to protect or remove all equipment during making good works. CVA to monitor. HCL to forward method statement. Action HCL

 Window installation- Alucraft windows all include restrictor control obstructing proposed lining. Not included in drawings or commented on. Alucraft to forward alternative location/ control. HCL to confirm that fixings will be suitably sealed and hidden by linings in all locations. Action HCL

 HCL to provide insulation where timber reveal build out not solid. Air tightness detailing to be carried out to all windows/ reveals in both new build and refurb Cunliffe building. Action HCL

 First fix electrical services installed in Cunliffe in lieu of raised floor system. Areas to be cleared prior to installation. Action HCL
 Tile backer board used to both faces of sanitorium. Not as Specification K10/ 110F which stipulates 1 No. layer wallboard to outer face and tile backer board to inner face. HCL to address. Action HCL

Profile to be added over openings to Brickshield north elevation- Action HCL

Insulation setting out incorrect to 1FL reveals- HCL to advise how to address- Action HCL

Existing openings to be blocked up prior to application of further insulation- Cunliffe North elevation

Window beads marked during transit/ lifting via forks to be installed. All future lifts to be with adequate protection. Existing beads to all be replaced where damaged. Action HCL
